Naturisimo is the home of ethical and green beauty in the UK. Established in 2008, they’re committed to showcasing brands that are doing good – both in what they put in their products and how they’re packaging them.
But they don’t just hold other brands to a high standard, they practice what they preach by doing their bit to better the world too. A 1% for the planet member, Naturisimo has sustainability at the heart of their business, which is why I’ve been shopping with them for years.
I thought it was about time I shared why I love this one-stop shop for all my zero waste beauty and plastic free skincare needs!

Why is Naturisimo Different?
When you shop at Naturisimo, you can be assured that every single product they stock has been thoroughly vetted to be of the highest standard. They only carry products that are both good for you, and for the planet.
Beyond that guarantee, they make it easy to find products that fit your own criteria – whether that be vegan, gluten-free, fragrance-free, or certified organic.
In addition to this, I love the following features:
You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the packaging that Naturisimo uses to send out your eco-friendly beauty products.
The box you receive is made of FSC certified cardboard and printed in eco-friendly vegetable inks. This means the box is both recyclable & compostable.
Inside, you’ll find your sustainable skincare wrapped in recyclable, chlorine-free tissue paper and protected with 100% biodegradable packing peanuts. This loose fill can even be thrown in your compost or recycled.
No Waste Sale
In order to reduce waste from expiring products, Naturisimo offers a “no waste sale” section on their website where you can grab your favorite products at up to 40% off.
The expiry dates are clearly stated for each product, but it’s always within 6 months. So keep an eye on this section for items that you use up regularly!
Every month, Naturisimo puts out a Discovery Box so you can try new green beauty products for a bargain price (typically saving around £100!).
While I love the idea of this, I do think carefully about which discovery boxes I order, to ensure they’re actually products I’ve been wanting to try and ones that are packaged sustainably. There’s nothing sustainable about buying products you’ll never use!
In saying that, these boxes have allowed me to discover some of my (now) favorite sustainable beauty brands (more on those below).
Naturisimo recently launched its own rewards program so that you can get rewarded for your loyalty. It’s free to sign up and you’ll receive your first 500 points as a welcome gift!
Then, for each £1 spent, you’ll receive 5 points to redeem on products later. You can also earn points by referring friends, following Naturisimo on Instagram, or leaving honest reviews.
Free International Shipping
Naturisimo has a great free delivery policy for most countries around the world. There is a minimum spend, but it’s fairly low, and in any case, it makes sense to buy more at once in order to limit the number of packages you receive (and therefore emissions generated) anyway.
Delivery within the UK is free for all orders over £25 and typically takes 2-4 days. You can get it the next day for an additional fee.
Within the EU:
Delivery is free for orders over £30/£35 (depending on your country) and should take around 4-9 working days.
VAT Charges for EU countries – all orders under €150 will not have to pay custom clearance fees!
USA & Canada / Everywhere else:
Delivery is free for orders over £40 and takes around 7-14 days. Duties and taxes may be charged by local agencies.
My Favorite Eco-Friendly Skincare and Makeup Brands to Shop
Below are some of my personal faves when it comes to buying zero waste skincare and plastic free beauty products from Naturisimo.
One of the best zero waste makeup brands available, Kjaer Weis creates beautiful, eco-friendly beauty products with organic ingredients. I love their refillable compacts and creamy formulations.
Top Picks from Kjaer Weis:
– Iconic Edition Compact (fits blush, lip tint, face powder and more)
– Cream Blush Refill (I use Blossoming)
– Lip Tint Refill (I use Romance)
– Eye Shadow Refill (I love Grace and Earthy Calm)
Eco-beauty brand RMS are a leader in the clean makeup space, with all of their products being GMO, paraben, sulfate, nano, and cruelty-free. Instead, they formulate their deliciously hydrating skincare and makeup with ‘living ingredients’ like jojoba oil, Vitamin E, and kakadu plum.
I recently tried an Evolve face cream when it came in a discovery box, and I was instantly hooked! All their products are organic, vegan, cruelty-free and eco-friendly, and are packaged in a Grass Paper packaging that’s compostable and recyclable.
Another brand I discovered thanks to the Naturisimo Discovery Box, Grown Alchemist are experts in ageing skin (something I personally need help with!). All products are 100% natural and non-toxic, and their packaging is minimalistic and primarily recyclable glass and aluminium.
100% cruelty-free, vegan, and organic, London based Pai skincare upholds the strictest standards when it comes to making sustainable skincare. Their products are packaged in glass, recycled (PCR) plastics, or bioplastics made from sugar cane. They also have their own recycling program, so you can return your empties for recycling (UK only at this stage).
New Zealand based Antipodes has been formulating organic, plant-based skincare for over 15 years. Using only the highest quality natural ingredients, they’ve coined the term Scientific Green Beauty to describe their premium skincare range. Their sustainable skincare packaging is primarily recyclable glass bottles, aluminum tubes, and biodegradable boxes.
Organic skincare created in Latvia for a worldwide market, Mádara was once named the most sustainable enterprise in the country. Their natural skincare and cosmetics range are made from organic ingredients, locally sourced for the least impact. 40% of the current packaging is made from post-consumer recycled plastics, and 100% of their product packaging is recyclable.
Natural, Zero Waste deodorant can be a tricky thing to get right, but USA based Soapwalla has absolutely nailed it! Their original deodorant creme has a delicate smell, leaves no trace on your clothes, and most importantly reduces odors remarkably well!
It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, aluminum and paraben-free, and packaged in a recyclable glass jar.
